TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

That last detail matters. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade went the other way. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, that coverage is broad.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should round things out when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.

Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

Now, the part that matters. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this guarantee anything. It does be part of how you think about it.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense is your call.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
